An early goal by Will Gittins gave Britanicos B their first lead of the season early in the first half. In the end, late goals undid much of their good work and Britanicos B slipped to their third defeat from three.

Britanicos B were under pressure early but managed to break pressure and worked the ball well down the right flank. Through on goal, Jordan Sturmer was brought down in the box. Gittins stepped up and converted the penalty to give Britanicos B the lead and earn his first goal of the campaign.

On the front foot for the first time this season, Britanicos B looked to keep their lead. But a good interplay exposed the back line and Españoleto B found their equaliser before the half.

Sustained pressure from Españoleto B left Britanicos B defending in their own end for much of the second half. Unable to stop every attack, Britanicos B conceded a penalty which was converted to make it 2-1 to Españoleto B.

Trailing and chasing the match, Britanicos B left themselves open at the back to the delight of Españoleto B who took advantage to knock in three more before the final whistle.

Britanicos B are looking ahead and hope to earn their first points of the season this weekend. Their next game is Sunday 17th October at 11:00 AM away to C.D. Santa Eugenia 1976.
