Arguanzeula opened the scoring from a corner after a headed clearance fell to a striker to nod in to the open goal.

Arguanzela had more luck for their second as a miscued header from Mallon sent the ball looping beyond the keeper into the far corner.

Britanicos B never gave up and cut the lead in half through a Lafferty goal. First to react to his own saved penalty, he made no mistake with his second chance.

The away side had the better of the play in the first half and a shot off the crossbar from Ben Carroll could have leveled things up at two before the break.

But Britanicos were left with a mountain to climb once Arguanzela scored their third just before half time on the counter.

Britanicos B created chances but could not find the final ball for most of the second half.

Lafferty got his second goal of the match, heading at the far post from a Carroll corner. The stage was set for a grandstand finish, but Britanicos couldn't find the late equalizer.
